My client preferred to move the residence to a location on their site that would allow for easier access. The design was significantly different than the original with, in part, a cathedral ceiling and a main floor open plan, a master bedroom suite on the main floor and two additional bedrooms on a second floor through the center of the ground floor. This site is within the wildland urban interface requiring significant features to limit its combustibility.
